Accepting Account Changes

If other users initiate an account change to move a domain from their customer account into your customer account, you receive an email notification for the account change. The email notification may include a Transaction ID and Security Code that you may need to use to complete a manual account change. If you do not currently have a customer account with us, you must create one before proceeding.

To Accept an Account Change

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.

    If you do not have an account, click Create a New Account , complete the fields to set up your account, and then click Pending Account Changes.
  2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
  3. From the Domains menu, select Pending Account Changes.
  4. If the domain displays in your list, select the checkbox for the domain, and then click Quick Accept.
  5. If the domain does not display in your list, click Manually Accept Domains, and then complete the following:
    Transaction ID
    The identification code sent to the email address on file.
    Security Code
    The security code sent to the email address on file.
  6. Click Next and then proceed through checkout to complete the free transaction.

NOTE: Account changes should be completed within 10 days, before the transaction ID and security code expire.
