With Quick Blogcast, you can create excerpts of your blog entries to use in trackbacks and, if applicable, in subscription (RSS) feeds. You can set an option to automatically create excerpts, or you can create an excerpt while adding your blog. For more information about setting an option to automatically create excerpts, see Managing Entries.

To Create an Excerpt of a Blog Entry

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Quick Blogcast.

  6. To specify the text you want to use as the excerpt, highlight the text with your mouse, and then press Ctrl and C to copy your selection.
  7. Click Excerpt from the expandable menu on the left.
  8. Click the empty text box, and then press Ctrl and V to paste your selection.
  9. Click Excerpt.
  10. Click Save.
