Encrypting Email Messages

Through Web-Based Email, you can encrypt email messages you want to send to other users, and you can encrypt messages you want to save. Encrypting email messages provides extra security for your email. If you want to encrypt an email message you want to send to another user, you encrypt it while you compose the message. If you want to encrypt a message you saved in one of your folders, you can select the message and encrypt it.
To Encrypt Email Messages While Composing
- Click Compose.
- Click Encrypt Email.
- If necessary, select On.
- In the Password and Repeat Password fields, type the encryption password.
- In the Hint field, type a password hint.
- Click OK.
- Continue composing your email message.

To Encrypt Email Messages You Saved
- From the message list, select the check boxes of one or more email messages.
- From the Apply This Action list, select Encrypt.
- Click Apply.
- In the Password and Repeat Password fields, type the encryption password.
- In the Hint field, type a password hint.
- Click OK.
