Creating Custom Questions for the Sign-up Form

You can customize your questions for potential subscribers, instead of using the standard questions Express Email Marketing provides.
To Create Custom Questions for the Sign-up Form
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Express Email Marketing.
- On the Express Email Marketing page, click Open Express Email Marketing for the account you want to modify.
- Click Opt-In Magnet, then click Build Sign-Up Form.
- Click Next.
- Under Custom Questions, click the Create hyperlink.
- In the Question Text field, enter the text of your question.
- From the Question Type list, select the type of question.
- Text
- The respondent types in a response.
- Number
- The respondent enters a number.
- Date
- The respondent enters a date. (You may want to specify the date format in your question, such as 01/01/2000 or 2007-12-31.)
- Phone Number
- The respondent enters a date. (You may want to specify the phone number format in your question, such as (123) 456-7890 or 123-456-7890.)
- Multi (CheckBox)
- The respondent checks a box or boxes. For the Multi type, enter the different options available for the respondent. Useful for multiple response questions.
- List (DropDown)
- The respondent selects from a dropdown list. For the List type, enter the different options available for the respondent. Useful for selecting a single response from multiple options.
- Click Add.
