Importing Existing Customer Lists

To expedite the creation of your Express Email Marketing subscriber base, you can update your subscriber list by importing a previously-compiled customer list. Express Email Marketing notifies you by email when it has finished updating your list.

To Import a Customer List

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Express Email Marketing.
  3. On the Express Email Marketing page, click Open Express Email Marketing for the account you want to modify.
  4. Click List Database Manager, and then click Import List.
  5. Click Browse, locate and select the file you want to import, and then click Import File.
  6. Select whether to override existing information, and then identify whether the imported file contains column headings by selecting First row includes column headings.
  7. From the Select Delimiter list, select the delimiter used in the imported file to separate column values.
  8. To change a column heading, select from the list of available options or select Ignore Column.
  9. In the Interest Groups section, select the interest group to associate with the imported subscribers, if any.
  10. Click OK.
