Adding and Setting Properties for Radio Buttons

A form element is part of a form. You must add a form before you can add a form element. For more information about adding a form, see Adding Forms to Your Web Site.
To Add a Radio Button as a Form Element
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
- If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page that contains the form you want to edit.
- Click the form you want to edit.
- Go to the Options tab, and then select Edit Form.
- From the Insert Fields list select Radio Button.
- In the Enter a label for the new field field, specify the text you want to add with the radio button. If you want to assign properties to the radio button, modify the properties in the Radio Button Properties pane.
- When finished, click OK.
To Set Radio Button Properties
To set the radio button properties, you must first add the radio button form element as shown above.
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
- If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page you want to edit.
- Click the table you want to edit.
- From the Edit Content window, click the radio button to select it. The Radio Button Properties display in the right pane.
- If necessary, in the Label field, edit the radio button label.
- To add a tooltip that displays when users hover over the radio button, in the Tooltip field, enter the tooltip.
- In the Value field, specify the information you want to submit when the radio button has been selected. For example, if the label is "Add me to your contact list", the value may be "True", specifying that when the radio button has been selected, the user wants to be added to your contact list.
- In the Group field, specify a group label if you have a group of buttons. For example, if you listed radio buttons where users can select a color, such as pink, green, and blue, you might want to call the group "Color".
- To automatically show the radio button as selected, select Selected.
- To move the radio button above the previous item in the form, click Move Up.
- To move the radio button below the next item in the form, click Move Down.
