Adding and Setting Properties for Checkboxes

With WebSite Tonight, you can add a form to your Web site, specifying the details for it by inserting form elements and customizing those elements. One of the form element's available in WebSite Tonight is a checkbox.
To Add a Checkbox as a Form Element
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
- If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page that contains the form you want to edit.
- Click the form you want to edit.
- Go to the Options tab, and then select Edit Form.
- From the Insert Fields list select Check Box.
- In the Enter a label for the new field field, specify the text you want to add with the check box.
- If you want to assign properties to the checkbox, modify the properties in the Check Box Properties pane.
- When finished, click OK.
To Set Checkbox Properties
To set properties for a checkbox, you must first add the checkbox form element as described above.
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
- If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page you want to edit.
- Click the table you want to edit.
- Click the field you want to edit. The Properties pane displays on the left.
- If necessary, in the Label field, edit the checkbox label.
- To add a tooltip that displays when users hover over the checkbox, in the Tooltip field, enter the tooltip.
- In the Value field, specify the information you want to submit when the checkbox has been selected. For example, if the label is "Add me to your contact list", the value may be "True", specifying that when the checkbox has been selected, the user wants to be added to your contact list.
- To automatically show the checkbox as selected, select Checked.
- To move the checkbox above the previous item in the form, click Move Up.
- To move the checkbox below the next item in the form, click Move Down.
