Creating, Adding, and Editing Shared Content Blocks

With WebSite Tonight, you can share any Content block. Sharing allows you to place the same content on multiple pages or in multiple locations on your Web pages. Any changes you make to the content in a shared block will affect all of the blocks that link to it through sharing.
To Share or Add Shared Content to a Content Block
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, click Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page that contains the block you want to share.
- Move your mouse to the block you want to share and click on the block. The Options tab displays.
- Click Share.
- You can create a new shared content block, or insert a block that you have already created. Select one of the following options:
- Share Block
- Creates a new shared content block. In the Name field, enter a name for your shared content block and click Create Shared Content.
- Select Shared Block
- Inserts a shared content into the selected block. In the Content list, select the name of the content you want to insert and click Insert Shared Content.
- Click OK.
To Unshare a Shared Content Block
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, click Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page that contains the block you want to share.
- Move your mouse to the block you want to share and click on the block. The Options tab displays.
- Click Unshare Content.
