To set up Eudora® 6 email client for SMTP Relay, use the instructions below.
Setting Up Eudora 6 for SMTP Relay (existing account)
- In Eudora*, from the Tools menu, click Personalities.
- Right-click your dominant personality, and then click Properties.
- Change your Return Address to your new email address.
- Change your Login Name to your new login name. Your login name is the same as your email address for this account (for example, username@coolexample.com).
- Change your SMTP Server name to smtpout.secureserver.net and click OK.
- Click the Incoming Mail tab.
- In the Incoming Server Name field, type pop.secureserver.net.
- Select POP3.
- Select Passwords as the authentication style.
Setting Up Eudora 6 for SMTP Relay (new account)
- In Eudora*, from the Tools menu, click Personalities.
- Right-click your dominant personality, and then click New.
- Select Create a brand new email account, and then click Next.
- Type a descriptive name for your personality, and then click Next.
- Type your name as you want it to display in the "From" field on outgoing messages, and then click Next.
- Type your new email address, and then click Next.
- Type your email account for the login name, and then click Next.
- In the Incoming Server Name field, type pop.secureserver.net, and then click Next.
- In the Outgoing Mail Server Name field, type smtpout.secureserver.net, and then click Next.
- Click Finish.
