When setting custom .ca nameservers for .ca domains, you must also enter an IP address. You can enter up to nine IP addresses per nameserver. A custom .ca nameserver is a nameserver that ends in .ca, such as NS1.COOLEXAMPLE.CA. If you're parking your domain with us, using our hosted nameservers, or using a non-.ca nameserver, you do not enter an IP address.

To Set a .CA Nameserver

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, select Domain Manager.
  3. Use the checkbox(es) to select the .ca domain name(s) you want to modify.
  4. Click Nameservers.
  5. Select Custom Nameservers.
    Nameserver 1, 2, 3
The .ca nameserver you want to use for the domain.
    Nameserver 1, 2, 3 IP Addresses
The IP address for the domain.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK again.
