Customizing Your Template Using CSS

Here's the Lowdown: From the Quick Blogcast Style Sheet page, you can customize your Web page using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

Quick Blogcast uses CSS to define each template's colors, fonts, and layout.

You can edit both your site's Theme CSS and Color CSS by copying and pasting styles from either of these sections and editing them in the Customized CSS text area. The Theme CSS controls the layout for your template features, such as the header and sidebar items. The Color CSS determines how certain content is displayed based on selected template color.

Quick Blogcast also allows you to reset the CSS to its original state.

To Customize Your Template Using CSS

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Quick Blogcast.
  3. In the Quick Blogcast Account list, click Manage Account for the account you want to modify.
  4. From the Design Blog menu, select Customize.
  5. Go to the CSS Styles tab.
  6. From the View Style Sheet list, select Customized CSS or Theme CSS.
  7. In the Customized CSS file window, edit the CSS.
  8. To view your changes in the preview window, click Apply Changes/Update Preview.
  9. To update your live site with your changes, click Save.

To Reset the CSS to Its Original State

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Quick Blogcast.
  3. From the Quick Blogcast Account list, click Manage Account for the account you want to modify.
  4. From the Design Blog menu, select Customize.
  5. Go to the CSS Styles tab.
  6. To remove any customized CSS and reset the style sheet to its original state (default), click Clear.
  7. To publish your changes, click Save.

The style sheet returns to its original state.
