About .UNO Domain Names
The .uno top-level domain is the No. 1 choice for Spanish-speaking individuals and businesses worldwide! The extension is a simple, intuitive and memorable Spanish alternative to a .com., designed specifically to serve Hispanic and Latino populations around the globe.
When you register a .uno domain, you will be instantly recognized as an active participant within Spanish-speaking cultures, and will communicate your Spanish focus instantly to visitors, driving targeted customers to your site.
Pre-Registration Information
The .uno launch is divided into three pre-registration phases: Trademark Holder (Sunrise), Priority Pre-Registration (Landrush) and General Availability. Each phase has specific application requirements:
Trademark Holders Registration - Sunrise
Sunrise pre-registration for .uno domains is currently unavailable.
From Jan. 6, 2013, at 15:00 UTC to Jan. 13, 2014, at 15:00 UTC, trademark holders can submit an application to register a .uno domain containing their owned mark, before it's available to the public.
Trademark validation goes through the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH), which is an ICANN global repository for trademark data. Visit the TMCH website for information on registering a trademark.
Bulk .uno registration is not supported during this phase.
Multiple applications with different registrars are resolved on a first-come, first-served basis during General Availability. If you aren’t able to secure the domain name, we’ll refund the registration fee.
