Anyone can register .christmas domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.

These domain names can have up to 63 characters, with a minimum of one character, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) in the following languages are supported: Cyrillic, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Uniregistry manages and supports the .christmas domain extension.

You can register a .christmas domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.

We'll attempt to auto-renew your .christmas domain name on its expiration date. We will park .christmas domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 40 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.

Two nameservers are required for .christmas domain to resolve, and a maximum of 13 nameservers is allowed. Vanity nameservers, DNSSEC, IPv4 and IPv6 are supported.
