About .PICS Domain Names
Pictures are an essential part of our lives, helping capture the memories we make on a daily basis. A .pics domain name will be the central online home for all of your cherished pictures, allowing you to share your experiences with the rest of the world.

Beginning October 21, 2014, at 18:00 UTC, customers can register .pics domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bulk .pics registration is supported during General Availability.

Who can register .pics domain names?
Anyone can register .pics domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
These domain names can have up to 63 characters, with a minimum of one character, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) in the following languages are supported: Cyrillic, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Which registry controls .pics domain names?
Uniregistry manages and supports the .pics domain extension.
For how long can I register .pics domain names?
You can register a .pics domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.
When do .pics domain names renew?
We'll attempt to auto-renew your .pics domain name on its expiration date. We will park .pics domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 40 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.
Can I transfer .pics domain names to my account with you?

Are there DNS requirements for my .pics domain names?
Two nameservers are required for .pics domain to resolve, and a maximum of 13 nameservers is allowed. Vanity nameservers, DNSSEC, IPv4 and IPv6 are supported.
