About .PORN Domain Names
There’s nothing worse than happening upon the wrong site. If you already own a .xxx extension, register a companion .porn domain name not just for those who want to see your content, but for those who don’t. They’ll appreciate your honesty.
Registration Phases
The .porn launch is divided into three registration phases: Sunrise B Limited Registration, Domain Matching Limited Registration and General Availability. Each phase has specific application requirements:
Sunrise B Limited Registration
From April 6, 2015 at 16:00 UTC to April 30, 2015 at 16:00 UTC, customers can register .porn domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bulk .porn registration is not supported during Sunrise B Limited Registration.
If you applied for a Sunrise B .xxx domain name, you are eligible to purchase the same string for .porn. However, you must purchase your .porn domain from the same registrar from which you purchased .xxx. If you do not meet this requirement, your registration will be cancelled and refunded.
Domain Matching Limited Registration
If you have currently registered a .xxx domain name as of April 30, 2015 you can purchase a matching string for .porn during this phase. However, you must have purchased the domain from the same registrar at which your .xxx domain is currently registered. If you do not meet this requirement, your registration will be cancelled and refunded.
Bulk .porn registration is not supported during Domain Matching Limited Registration.
General Availability
Beginning June 4, 2015 at 16:00 UTC, customers can register .porn domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bulk .porn registration is supported during General Availability.
Multiple applications with different registrars are resolved on a first-come, first-served basis during General Availability. If you aren't able to secure the domain name, we'll refund the registration fee.
NOTE: If you are awarded the domain name, you have 5 days to cancel your domain name and get a refund of the registration fee.

Who can register .porn domain names?
Anyone can register .porn domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
These domain names can only support 1-63 characters (with a minimum of 1 character), and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. The .porn domain does not support IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names).
Which registry controls .porn domain names?
Afilias is the registry provider and ICM Registry LLC is the sponsor for the .porn extension.
For how long can I register .porn domain names?
You can register a .porn domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.
When do .porn domain names renew?
We'll attempt to auto-renew your .porn domain name on its expiration date. We will park .porn domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 40 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.
Can I transfer .porn domain names to my account with you?

Can I add privacy and protection to .porn domain names?
Domains by Proxy Private Registration is offered for .porn domain names, but Protected Registration is not available.
Can I backorder .porn domain names?
No. We currently do not support the backorder of .porn domain names.

Are there nameserver requirements for my .porn domain names?
Two nameservers are required for .porn domains to resolve, and a maximum of 13 nameservers is allowed. IPv4, IPv6, DNSSEC and Vanity nameservers are supported.
