Who can register .news domain names?
Anyone can register .news domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
These domain names can have a up to 63 characters, with a minimum of 1 character, and can contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9) and hyphens (except in the 3rd or 4th characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. The .news supports IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) in the following languages: French and Spanish.
