Once you have set up a database with your hosting account, you can log in to your account manager and manage your database.
To Manage Your Database
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
Click one of the following, based on the type of hosting you have. You can tell this by the second word in your hosting's description beneath your hosting account's domain name, e.g. Deluxe Web correlates to Web/Classic (Hosting Control Panel).
Web/Classic (Hosting Control Panel)
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- In the Databases section of the Hosting Control Panel, click the icon for the type of database you want to manage.
- Here you can create new databases, delete databases, or make changes to existing databases.
- Depending on the type of database you have, you can click phpMyAdmin or Admin Tool to access more advanced management functions.
Linux (cPanel)
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- In the Databases section, click MySQL Databases.
- From here you can check or repair databases, as well as add new users and associate them with databases.
