An FTP Backup is a secondary server you can connect to to back up your server's contents.
Parallels Plesk Panel backup is a built-in utility that helps you back up your websites to a remote FTP server. You can use the Parallels Plesk Panel backup feature with our FTP backups. For more information, see:

Without an FTP Backup server, Plesk stores the backups it creates on the local server.
