RPM lets you install software on a Linux server via SSH for the following operating systems:
- CentOS (documentation)
- Fedora (documentation)
To view the help documentation for RPM, run man rpm
in SSH.
We only recommend RPM for advanced users with some experience in Linux system administration. For less experienced users, we recommend using YUM.
