What is FFmpeg? Can I install it on my shared hosting account?

FFmpeg is cross-platform software used to record, convert and stream audio and video. For more information, see FFmpeg's website.

Due to the resources FFmpeg uses, we cannot install it on our shared hosting accounts. If your website requires it, we recommend purchasing a virtual or dedicated server.
