Configuring Smarthost on Windows Servers Using Mailenable

To configure Smarthost on a Windows server using MailEnable:
- Log in to your Windows Server Remote Desktop as "administrator"
- Click on Start and go to All Programs.
- Under the MailEnable menu, select MailEnable Administrator.
If the option is not there, browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\Admin\MailEnableAdmin - Expand the MailEnable Management directory.
- Expand servers.
- Expand localhost and select Connectors.
- Right-click on SMTP and select properties.
- Click on the Smart Host tab to display the Smart Host settings window.
NOTE: You must enable the postmaster mailbox before you can access the Smart Host settings.
- Select the checkbox for Smart Host Enabled.
- In the IP/Domain field, enter your server's email relay server (more info).
- Click OK and close MailEnable.
