Using Aliases, cPanel lets you add domains to your hosting account and have them load your primary hosted domain name's website or redirect elsewhere.
NOTE: cPanel also refers to these as "parked" domains.
To Add Domain Aliases
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Next to the account you want to use, click Manage.
- In the Domains section, click Aliases.
- Enter the domain you want to use, and then click Add Domain.
If you want to point the domain somewhere other than your primary domain name's document root (public_html
), click the gear (Manage Redirection).
