Setting the Currency Preference for Your Reseller Storefront

In the Reseller Control Center, you can enable multi-currency pricing, and then set the currency preference for your Basic or Pro Reseller storefront.

By enabling multi-currency pricing and setting a currency preference, you can let customers complete the checkout process in a currency other than U.S. dollars (USD). You can also apply a currency preference to the Products & Pricing and Sales & Promotions tabs in your Reseller Control Center.

When you set a currency preference for your storefront, it displays by default. However, a customer can override your preference by selecting a different currency preference in your storefront header.

Even if you enable multi-currency pricing and set a currency preference, we will continue to pay your commissions in USD.

NOTE: Depending on currency exchange rates and other variables, sales in currencies other than USD might reduce your commission payments or result in negative commission payments. For more information, see the Reseller Agreement.

In addition, due to bank processing time frames and exchange rate fluctuations, the prices indicated when customers place orders might differ from the amounts that post to their bank accounts. For more information, see our Universal Terms of Service.

Enabling Multi-Currency Pricing

You can enable multi-currency pricing, and then set the currency preferences for your storefront and Reseller Control Center.

To Enable Multi-Currency Pricing

  1. Log in to your Reseller Control Center.
  2. Go to the Products & Pricing tab.
  3. Click Settings, and then go to the Currency Preferences tab.
  4. Select Opt in to Multi-Currency Pricing.
  5. Select I have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the Reseller Agreement, and then click OK.
  6. For Set default storefront and transactional display currency, select the default currency you want to display on your storefront.
  7. For Set display for Reseller Control Center Product Pricing Manager, select the default currency you want to display in your Reseller Control Center.
  8. Click OK. It can take several minutes for your changes to take effect.

Disabling Multi-Currency Pricing

You can disable multi-currency pricing, which resets your storefront and Reseller Control Center to USD.

To Disable Multi-Currency Pricing

  1. Log in to your Reseller Control Center.
  2. Go to the Products & Pricing tab.
  3. Click Settings, and then go to the Currency Preferences tab.
  4. Deselect Opt in to Multi-Currency Pricing. Your currency preference defaults to USD.
  5. Click OK. It can take several minutes for your changes to take effect.

Changing Your Display Currency on the Pricing Page

On the Pricing page, you can also change the currency that displays in your Reseller Control Center. To do so, you must first opt-in to multi-currency pricing on the Settings page.

To Change Your Display Currency on the Pricing Page

  1. Log in to the Reseller Control Center.
  2. Go to the Products & Pricing tab, and then select a product group.
  3. Click Set pricing for any product.
  4. For Change display currency, click the plus (+) icon to expand the section.
  5. From Select Reseller Control Center Display Currency, select the currency you want to display in your Reseller Control Center.
  6. Click Save.
