Setting up SiteLock

SiteLock is a security-enhancing tool for your website. It offers a number of different scans to find vulnerabilities and compromises, as well as providing ways to fix the issues it finds.

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click SiteLock.
  3. Next to the SiteLock account you want to use, click Active.
  4. Select or enter the domain name you want to use, and then click Get Started with SiteLock.

Next Steps

Verify Domain Ownership — If your domain name and SiteLock are not in the same IX-ONE DOMAIN HOST account, you need to verify your domain ownership (more info).

Configure SMART — If you purchased either a Professional or Premium SiteLock account, you should also configure SMART to remove any malware it finds on your site (more info).
