Pre-registration gives you the best possible chance of securing a domain name before it's available to the general public, but it doesn't guarentee you will get it. You can pre-register for Sunrise, Landrush and General Availability phases, and we'll submit your registration application when the phase begins.

Multiple applications with different registrars are resolved on a first-come, first-served basis during General Availability. If you aren’t able to secure the domain name, we’ll refund the registration fee. Application fees will not be refunded.

NOTE: You cannot cancel your pre-registration application. If you are awarded the domain name, you have 5 days to cancel your domain name and get a refund of the registration fee only.

Sunrise pre-registration for .luxury domains is currently unavailable.

From Feb. 10, 2014, at 15:00 UTC to March 11, 2014, at 15:00 UTC, trademark holders can submit an application to register a .luxury domain containing their owned mark, before it's available to the public.

Trademark validation goes through the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH), which is an ICANN global repository for trademark data. Visiti the TMCH website for information on registering a trademark.

Bulk .luxury registration is not supported during this phase.

From March 17, 2014, at 15:00 UTC to April 15, 2014, at 15:00 UTC, customers can purchase .luxury domain names at a premium price. A non-refundable application fee in addition to the domain's registration fee is collected when the registration request is submitted. Multiple Priority Pre-Registration applications with different registrars are resolved via auction. If for some reason you don't get the domain you want, we'll refund your registration fee.

Beginning April 21, 2014, at 15:00 UTC, customers can register .luxury domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.

Anyone can register .luxury domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.

These domain names can have up to 63 characters, with a minimum of one character, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. It does not support IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) characters.

Premium one- and two-letter .luxury domains will be sold at auction by AfterNic. The timeframe for the release of these domains or if they will renew at the premium rate has not yet been determined.

You can pre-register a .luxury domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.

We'll attempt to auto-renew your .luxury domain name on its expiration date. We will park .luxury domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 40 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.

One nameservers is required for .luxury domain to resolve, and a maximum of 13 nameservers is allowed. Vanity nameservers are supported.
