Downloading and Installing a Driver Signing Certificate

You must download and install your driver signing certificate from the same computer and browser that you requested your certificate from.

To complete your driver signing certificate you need to download the root certificate, Microsoft® cross certificate, Intermediate Certificate, and then install the driver signing certificate.

To Download and Install a Driver Signing Certificate

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click My Account, and then SSL Certificates.
  3. Next to the certificate credit you want to use, click Manage.
  4. Go the sidebar on the left, and then click the Certificates folder.
  5. Next to the driver signing certificate you want to use, click the alias.
  6. Click Download, and then click Install Root.
  7. In the Potential Scripting Violation window, click Yes.
  8. In the Security Warning window, click Yes. Your root certificate installs.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Click Microsoft Cross Certificate.
  11. In the Potential Scripting Violation window, click Yes. Your cross certificate installs.
  12. Click Next.
  13. Click Install Intermediate.
  14. In the Potential Scripting Violation window, click Yes. Your intermediate certificate installs.
  15. Click Next.
  16. Click Install Certificate.
  17. In the Potential Scripting Violation window, click Yes. Your certificate installs.
  18. Click Next.
  19. To save a backup of your certificate select File format. Select DER if you automatically generated your CSR. Select PEM if you manually generated it. Click Download Certificate.
  20. Click Save, enter the File name and the location want to save your certificate to, and then click Save.
