You can view or change your ASP.NET version on our Windows-based hosting accounts.

Note: ASP.NET 3.5 runtime is backward compatible with versions 3.0 and 2.0.

To View or Change Your Hosting Account's ASP.NET Version

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.

Click one of the following, based on the type of hosting you have. You can tell this by the second word in your hosting's description beneath your hosting account's domain name, e.g. Deluxe Web correlates to Web/Classic (Hosting Control Panel).

Web/Classic (Hosting Control Panel)

  1. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
  2. In the Settings section, click Programming Languages.

Your currently-selected version displays. If you want to change it, select a different version, click Continue and then click Update.

Windows (Plesk)

Plesk lets you change the ASP.NET settings on a per-domain basis. This means you have to update the settings for each domain on your account if you don't want to use Plesk's default.

  1. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
  2. Next to the domain you want to use, click Hosting Settings.

In the Web Scripting and Statistics section, your Microsoft ASP.NET support version displays.

If you want to change it, select a new version, and then click OK.
