You can create default settings for your Quick Content mini websites. Default settings let you quickly set up new domain names in your Quick Content account. They do not apply to Quick Content sites you've already set up.

If you don't have time to set up Quick Content sites for your domain names, you can use our auto-create feature to quickly create sites based on the keywords in your domain names. See Auto-Creating Quick Content Sites for more information.

NOTE: All default settings are optional. You can leave any fields you do not want to use blank.

To Create Default Settings for Quick Content Sites

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Next to Quick Content Site, click Manage.
  3. From the Settings menu, click Site Preferences.
  4. Do any of the following:
    • Tagline — Enter the description you want to use for your sites.
    • Google AdSense Publisher ID — Enter your Google AdSense publisher identification number. For example, enter pub-1232929292.
    • Auto Create Site on Credit Consumption — Select this setting to auto-create sites when you add domain names to your Quick Content account.
    • Use credit immediately upon purchase — We enable this setting by default. If you want to manually apply credits to domain names in Needs Credit status, deselect this setting.
  5. To display Google AdSense ads, click Advanced Advertising Preferences, and then do one or more of the following:
    • 160 x 600 Ad — Select Google Wide Skyscraper ad, and then enter the google_ad_slot number that displays in the code you generated for a Wide Skyscraper advertisement.
    • 250 x 250 Ad — Select Google Square ad, and then enter the google_ad_slot number that displays in the code you generated for a Square advertisement.
    • 728 x 90 Ad — Select Google Leaderboard ad, and then enter the google_ad_slot number that displays in the code you generated for a Leaderboard advertisement.

    • 728 x 90 Ad — Select Affiliate ad, and then paste your custom HTML or JavaScript code in the field.

NOTE: For each size, you can only display a Google ad or an affiliate ad. To prevent an advertisement type from displaying, select Do not show ad.

  7. Click Template Preferences, and then select a template from the Classic, Preferred, or Shopping tabs.

NOTE: If you select Classic, you can use the Select category list to view templates in different categories, and you can use the Layout list to change your template's layout. Custom templates display in the Custom Theme category. For more information, see Selecting Templates for Quick Content Sites and Customizing Templates for Your Quick Content Domain Names.
