Accepting Calendar Event Invitations

When Calendar event organizers invite you to attend events, you receive an email requesting that you notify the event's organizer of your attendance. Click one of the three options:

  • Accept — You are attending the event. The event displays in your personal calendar.
  • Tentative — You might attend the event. The event displays in your personal calendar.
  • Declined — You are not attending the event. The event does not display in your personal calendar.

You can add the event to your Outlook® calendar by opening the ICS file attached to the invitation.
