Upgrading Your WordPress Installation to a New Version

There are several steps to upgrading your WordPress® installation.
Your first step is to follow WordPress' instructions to upgrade your installation.
Then, if you installed WordPress through Value Applications, see Upgrading to a New Version of a Hosting Quick-Install Application.If you installed WordPress manually, or if the Value Applications upgrade method doesn't work, try this:
- Log in to your WordPress admin control panel.
- Click Dashboard.
- Click Updates.
- Click Update now. If the Update Now button is there, there are no updates for your WordPress installation.
Additionally, you can try a manual upgrade. Please see the WordPress Codex for the latest instructions.
