Installing and Uninstalling FrontPage Extensions

Installing FrontPage Server Extensions lets you publish your website using Microsoft® FrontPage. FrontPage Extensions also support FrontPage's components like forms, hit counters, and forums. Install/re-install of FrontPage Extensions typically takes 10 minutes.
NOTE: Only Classic Hosting accounts running IIS6 support FrontPage Extensions. For more information, see What type of hosting account do I have?
To Install FrontPage Extensions on Your Existing Hosting Account
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- In the Settings section of the Hosting Control Panel, click the Front Page Extensions icon.
- To add FrontPage Extensions to your account, click Install FrontPage Extensions.
- Enter a FrontPage Email Address and click Continue.
- Review and verify your FrontPage Extensions settings. Remember, if you install FrontPage Extensions, you must use Microsoft FrontPage to create, edit, and update your website.
- If everything looks OK, click Submit.
To Uninstall FrontPage Extensions on Your Existing Hosting Account
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- In the Settings section of the Hosting Control Panel, click the Front Page Extensions icon.
- To uninstall FrontPage Extensions to your account, click Uninstall FrontPage Extensions.
- Verify that you want to uninstall FrontPage Extensions.
- If everything looks OK, click Submit.
