Connect to Your Server or Shared Hosting Account with SSH

After downloading and installing one of these clients, use the following settings to connect via SSH:
Field | What to enter... |
---|---|
Host Name or IP Address | Your account's domain name or IP address |
Port | 22 |
Username | Your account's primary username |
Password | Your account's password |
NOTE: Once you have entered the host name or IP address and the port, open the connection. Once connected, you will be prompted for the user name and password.
