Managing Your Email Account SMTP Relays

SMTP relays let you send emails through our servers using third-party clients, such as Microsoft Outlook®. To prevent spam, we limit our email accounts to 250 SMTP relays per day. This lets you send 250 emails from your email address on a daily basis.

NOTE: This limitation does not apply to Hosted Exchange Email addresses.

In the Workspace Control Center, you can view the number of SMTP relays your account has used.

To View Your SMTP Relays

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Email.
  3. Next to the account you want to use, click Manage.
  4. For the account with the email address you want to use, click (Show addresses).
  5. Click the email address you want to use, and then go to the Advanced tab.

If you want to send more than 250 emails per day from an email address, you can purchase more SMTP relays. It can take up to 24 hours for them to be available for use.

To Purchase More SMTP Relays

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Help.
  3. Click Running out of SMTP Relays? Buy more, and then complete the purchase process.

After you purchase more SMTP relays, assign them to your email address.

To Assign More SMTP Relays to Your Email Address

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Email.
  3. Next to the account you want to use, click Manage.
  4. For the account with the email address you want to use, click (Show addresses).
  5. Click the email address you want to use, and then go to the Advanced tab.
  6. Select the number of SMTP relays you want to assign to the email address, and then click OK.
