GoDaddy offers two all-in-one solutions to help you build your website and get online. These solutions combine an online tool that you can use to create your website, with the hosting services you need to get your site online.
To access GoDaddy’s website building tools, in your GoDaddy account, open the Domains page. Choose the domain name that you want to use for your website and click Use My Domain. Now, build a new website.
Website Builder and Online Store are both online website design applications that enable you to create a website - without any technical skills or coding experience.
Website Builder is GoDaddy’s website design tool. It offers several themes, or templates, for you to choose from. Once you select a theme, you can customize your website by editing the existing text and images using drag-and-drop design tools. Website Builder is great for creating a basic online presence for your business, or even just to provide info about your business, like what you do, who you are, and how to contact you, among other things.
If you want to sell products or services on your website, Online Store is the best choice. Online Store is similar to Website Builder, but includes specially designed storefront and product pages, an integrated shopping cart, and customer payment processing. The product pages in Online Store not only let you organize, merchandise, and display the details of what you’re selling, but you also control things such as product pricing, inventory and shipping behind the scenes.
Once you’ve chosen your website design tool and customized the template, you’ll just click Publish, and your site is on the web.
