The .adult domain name expands beyond the adult entertainment industry to include other age-restricted items and activities, from video games to resorts to alcohol and tobacco. If you already own a .xxx domain, get your matching .adult domain to create a unified presence around your adult-only brand.

Registration Phases

The .adult launch is divided into three registration phases: Sunrise B Limited Registration, Domain Matching Limited Registration and General Availability. Each phase has specific application requirements:

Sunrise B Limited Registration

From April 6, 2015 at 16:00 UTC to April 30, 2015 at 16:00 UTC, customers can register .adult domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bulk .adult registration is not supported during Sunrise B Limited Registration.

If you applied for a Sunrise B .xxx domain name, you are eligible to purchase the same string for .adult. However, you must purchase your .adult domain from the same registrar from which you purchased .xxx. If you do not meet this requirement, your registration will be cancelled and refunded.

Domain Matching Limited Registration

If you have currently registered a .xxx domain name as of April 30, 2015 you can purchase a matching string for .adult during this phase. However, you must have purchased the domain from the same registrar at which your .xxx domain is currently registered. If you do not meet this requirement, your registration will be cancelled and refunded.

Bulk .adult registration is not supported during Domain Matching Limited Registration.
