Add Alias Domains Account

You can assign multiple domains to your Website Builder v7 site. The domains display the same site as the primary domain associated to the Website Builder v7 account.

Assigning multiple domains to a single Website Builder v7 site is called domain aliasing. Aliasing is preferred to forwarding domains to your site as forwarded domains are less searchable than an aliased domain.

To Alias a Domain to your Website Builder v7 Site

  1. Log in to your Website Builder account.
  2. Click WEBSITE BUILDER.
  3. Next to the WEBSITE BUILDER account you want to edit, click Manage.
  4. Once Website Builder v7 launches, from the Settings tab, click Domain Settings.
  5. Near the bottom of the Domain Settings window, click Domain Alias.

  6. When a separate Aliased Domains window or tab opens in your Web browser, select an existing alias or create one by clicking Add Aliases.

  7. Select an available domain in the window's top list, click Add and then click Continue.
  8. Click Submit and when a confirmation message is displayed, close the browser window or tab and return to your Website Builder v7 window.
  9. Click OK to close the still open Domain Settings window.

You can only alias domains that are available within your customer account. Please allow up to 48 hours for the aliased domain to display your site.
