If your domain name is registered with us but hosted through another company (or on a server you control), you'll need to change its nameservers. What that is, we don't know! You'll have to talk to your host or admin to find out what your nameservers should be.

Once you have those nameservers, you can set them on your domain name using these instructions.

To Set Custom Nameservers for Domain Names Registered with Us

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Next to Domains, click Manage.
  3. Select the domain names you want to modify.
  4. From the Nameservers menu, select Set Nameservers.
  5. Under Setup type, select Custom.
  6. Select Add Nameservers.
  7. Enter the two nameservers your hosting provider gave you.

Click Add Nameserver if you have more than two nameservers.

  8. Click Save.

After updating your nameservers, allow 4 to 8 hours for other networks to access information for .com and .net domain names, and allow 24 to 48 hours for other networks to access information for all other domain extensions. If you have difficulty, contact our 24/7 technical support team for assistance.
