Beginning October 28, 2014 at 18:00 UTC, customers can pre-register .quebec domain names.

Bulk .quebec registration is supported during General Availability.

Multiple applications that are pre-registered with different registrars prior to November 18, 2014 will be resolved on a first-come, first-served basis at the opening of General Availability. If you aren't able to secure the domain name, we'll refund the registration fee.

NOTE: You cannot cancel your registration application. If you are awarded the domain name, you have 5 days to cancel your domain name and get a refund of the registration fee.

Who can register .quebec domain names?

Anyone can register .quebec domain names on a first-come, first-served basis, however .quebec requires the completion of a statement of "Intended Use" for the domain name while going through the purchase path. This statement can be a minimum of one character and a maximum of 2048 characters.

These domain names can have up to 63 characters, with a minimum of three characters, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. The .quebec domain supports IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) in the following language: French.
