You must install the Starfield Certificate on your Windows Mobile 5 phone to complete the Hosted Exchange Email setup. If it is not installed, you can use your computer to transfer the certificate to your mobile device.

To install the Starfield Certificate and Active Sync, complete the following:

To Install the Starfield Certificate and Active Sync

  1. Turn on your mobile device and browse to the root directory.
  2. Create a folder named "Storage".
  3. Install the certificate installer application into the Program Files folder.
  4. Go to the Start menu.
  5. Select File Manager.
  6. Select Program Files.
  7. Click the application to launch it. It automatically finds the certificates you listed in the storage folder.
  8. Click OK four times and reboot your mobile phone to continue the Hosted Exchange Email setup.

NOTE:This process transfers the certificate and the application used to install it directly to your phone. The Install application is different for each phone carrier. For more information, see Microsoft Support.
