Setting Passwords on Your BlackBerry Smartphone

You can set passwords on BlackBerry® smartphone to ensure only authorized viewers can access locked smartphone.

To Set a Password on a BlackBerry Smartphone

  1. Click the BlackBerry Smartphone folder.
  2. Select the BlackBerry smartphone for which you want to set a password.
  3. Click Password.
  4. Enter the new password.
  5. Click OK.

NOTE: To use your BlackBerry with Hosted Exchange Email, you must have BlackBerry Enterprise Server as part of your calling plan. For more information about BlackBerry Enterprise Server, refer to your carrier.
