A .CSV file is a list of comma-separated values. The comma-separated values (.CSV) file format is a delimited data format where fields or values are separated with a comma and each record is on a new line. Values that contain a comma, line break, or double quote character, or that start or end with a space, must be enclosed in double quotes.

You can open .CSV files in most spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel.
