Saving Drafts of Email Messages

You can save a copy, or draft, of a Web-Based Email message so that you can read it or finish it at another time.

The following sections show you how to save drafts of email messages in different versions of Web-Based Email.

Email Legacy Version

To Save a Draft of an Email Message

  1. Log in to your Web-Based Email account.
  2. Click the Compose button.
  3. To save a draft of the message, click the Save as Draft button.
  4. To continue editing the draft, click Continue Editing.
  5. To save the draft and close the window, click Close Window.

NOTE: You can change your settings to automatically save drafts. To change your compose settings, see Setting Composing Preferences.
