You can set up separate Site Analytics accounts for each subdomain and aliased domain you have hosted with us. This means you can track your subdomain or aliased domain site separately from the primary account it is under. However, once you have set up your Site Analytics accounts in this way, there are certain factors you need to consider when removing your primary domain's Site Analytics account.

Removing Your Primary Domain

With Real Time Stats Enabled
If you remove your primary domain from an existing Site Analytics account, any subdomains or aliased domains under that primary domain remain active in their own accounts.

Without Real Time Stats Enabled
If you have Real Time Stats disabled on your primary domain account and then remove it, the subdomains and aliased domains remain attached to their Site Analytics accounts. However, logs are not processed for any of these domains once the primary domain is removed.

Note: If you remove your primary domain's Site Analytics account, Site Analytics will no longer work on your subdomain or aliased domain unless Real Time stats are enabled. Therefore, you should enable Real Time stats on your subdomain or aliased domain and embed the necessary JavaScript in each page you want tracked.
