You can access Site Analytics reports through both the Reports menu and the Reports panel. Reports are grouped into six categories, each focusing on a particular aspect of site traffic. These categories are Summary, Visitor, Page, Referrer, Server, and History. From each category, you can run a variety of reports.
When you select a report category, Site Analytics automatically generates the first report in that category. The Reports drop-down list displays all available reports in the category. To run a subsequent report, select it from the drop-down list.
To Run and Modify a Site Analytics Server Sessions Report
- From the Reports menu, select Server Reports - to generate a Server Sessions report with a predetermined date range.
- Change the type of graph generated with the report by selecting a graph style from the Graph drop-down list. The graph is redrawn in the selected style.
- Change the report start date by selecting a month, day, and year from the Start Date drop-down lists. Click Refresh View. A report with this new date range is generated.
- Click the Calendar icon and select a Start Date one month prior to the End Date.
- To change the report view, select Monthly from the View drop-down list. The report is automatically redrawn in this view.
NOTE: You can also change start and end dates by clicking on the Calendar icon. Changing dates in this manner does not require clicking Refresh View for the report to run.
