To use ColdFusion to connect to a database, you must create a ColdFusion DSN.
To Create a ColdFusion DSN for an Existing Database
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, select Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to modify, click Manage Account.
- In the Databases section of your Hosting Control Center, click the SQL Server icon.
- Click edit (pencil) icon next to the name of the database you want to use with ColdFusion.
- In the ColdFusion DSN Name Information section, select Create ColdFusion DSN.
- Click Continue.
- If everything looks OK, click Update to create a ColdFusion DSN for your database.
