Understanding the Domain Manager

From the Domain Manager, you can manage all of your domain settings and features, such as domain and registrant transfers, DNS options, and domain add ons. You navigate through domain features by using the tab menus located in the header of the Web page. The tab menus are:

Domains - Allows you to access lists of your domains.

  • All My Domains - Displays a complete list of your registered domain names.
  • Domain Forwarding Status - Displays a complete list of your registered domain names and indicates whether the names are forwarded or not.
  • Pending Transfers - Displays a list of pending transfers.
  • Pending Account Changes - Displays a list of domains that are pending a move to another account.

Buy/Sell - Allows you to view features you purchased for your domains.

  • Backorders and Monitoring - Displays a list of the domains you are monitoring or placed on backorder.
  • Investor's Edge - Displays a list of expired domains that will soon become available for public registration. If you're interested in one of the domains, you can place it on backorder.
  • Domain Buy - Displays a list of the domains you are attempting to acquire through Domain Buy Service.
  • Premium Listings - Displays a list of the domains you are selling through Premium Listings.
  • Appraisals - Displays a list of domains you have submitted for appraisal and the appraisal status for each.

Tools - Allows you to modify the way in which lists display, manage the DNS for domains you hosted elsewhere, and export lists of your domains.

  • Customize All My Domains Grid - Allows you to customize the way in which a list of All Your Domains displays.
  • Customize Backorders and Monitoring Grid - Allows you to customize the way in which a list of your backordered and monitored domains displays.
  • Off-site DNS - Allows you to manage the DNS for domains you hosted elsewhere.
  • Exportable Lists - Allows you to generate and export a list of your domains, according to the criteria you specify.

To Access the Domain Manager

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.

You can display details about your domain by clicking the domain name, access domain settings and features, transfer domains or change the domain registrant, and so on.
