Using the Hosting Account Password Vault

The Password Vault lets you store all of the user names and passwords associated with your Hosting Account in a secure environment. For instance, you could store the login and password for your WordPress account and MySQL database.
To Add Passwords to the Password Vault
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- In the Settings section of the Hosting Control Panel, click the Password Vault icon.
- Enter your Hosting Account password and click Submit. If you need to reset this password, see Reset your FTP username and password.
- In the Add New Password to Vault section, enter the Application Name, User Name and Password you want to store in the Password Vault and click Add. Repeat as needed.
- When you are finished adding your passwords, click Done.
To Edit Passwords in the Password Vault
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- Under the Tools section of the Hosting Control Panel, click the Password Vault icon.
- Enter your Hosting Account password and click Submit.
- Click the Edit link next to the password you would like to change.
- In the Edit Password section, make the changes to the password. When you are finished, click Update or if you don't want to make any changes, click Cancel.
- When you are finished editing your passwords, click Done.
To Delete Passwords from the Password Vault
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- Under the Tools section of the Hosting Control Panel, click the Password Vault icon.
- Enter your Hosting Account password and click Submit.
- Click the Delete link next to the password you would like to delete.
- Click OK in the conformation box. The password is deleted.
- When you are finished deleting your passwords, click Done.
To reset your Password Vault's password, reset your primary FTP user's password (more info).
