Installing an SSL Certificate in Apache (CentOS)

After your certificate request is approved, you can download your SSL and intermediate certificate from within the SSL application. For more information see Downloading Your SSL Certificate. Both of these files must be installed on your Web server.

These instructions do not apply to Ubuntu servers running Apache.

Como instalar o SSL e os certificados intermediários

  1. Copie o ficheiro do certificado SSL e o ficheiro do pacote de certificados para o servidor Apache. Deve ter ao seu dispor um ficheiro de chave no servidor quando gerou o seu pedido de certificado.
  2. Locate the following directives in either your httpd.conf or ssl.conf file (which files you use depends on how you configured Apache). If one or more of them are currently commented out, uncomment them by removing the # character from the beginning of the line. Set the values of these directives to the absolute path and filename of the appropriate file, based on your version of Apache:

  3. Salve seu arquivo de configuração e reinicie o Apache.

Como reiniciar o seu servidor da internet

O procedimento necessário para reiniciar o Apache depende consideravelmente da sua plataforma SO. Em plataformas semelhantes ao Unix (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, etc.) terá de executar normalmente um script para parar e reiniciar o daemon httpd. No Windows, terá de parar e reiniciar normalmente o serviço Apache na consola administrativa Serviços. Consulte a documentação do seu fornecedor de SO ou a documentação do Apache.
