Reset Your FTP Password

You can reset or change the credentials you use to log in to your hosting account via FTP, which lets you upload files to your account using an FTP client.

To Reset or Change Your Hosting Account Login

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Log in to Gateway using your IX-ONE DOMAIN HOST login.
  4. Under the domain name for the user you want to modify, click Settings.
  5. Enter a New cPanel Password, and then click Change Password.

You cannot change the primary FTP account's username in cPanel.

If you want to change the password for your non-primary FTP users, log in to cPanel (more info), and then click FTP Accounts.
