In the system, you will specify a password when you create a contact object, and you will use the associated password to make a registrar-to-registrar transfer. Passwords are not required for any other operation. This means that the registrant must provide his code to the new (gaining) registrar, who can then initiate a domain transfer request. It is a condition of use of the .ME Registry system that registrars provide a registrant with his or her contact code, when requested by the registrant. "Server"-related statuses are usually placed on domains or other objects by the system itself (so as to enforce a grace period, etc.). OK: This is the normal status of a domain. pendingTransfer: A transfer is in progress. Displayed during the transfer period. DeleteProhibited: The object cannot be deleted until the status is removed. Hold: The domain name can be updated, renewed, deleted, or transferred. The domain name shall not be included in the zone when in this status. The status is also put on by the registry when a domain does not have at least two nameservers. RenewProhibited: Requests to renew the domain name will be rejected. The domain name can be transferred, deleted, or updated. TransferProhibited: The domain cannot be deleted until the status is removed.
